“I felt very at ease, and it was clear Linda cared about every individual attending. The guided practices were deeply relaxing, and I left feeling content and restored for several days.”Elizabeth · Wild Pause participant
“I felt fully immersed in the beautiful woodlands and was able to just let go and be there in the moment. I usually get distracted very easily, but for the most part, I managed to fully concentrate on the exercises, which was unusual. I left feeling relaxed and re-energised.”Lina Viluma · Architect
“Even when I found solace in natural landscapes, I couldn’t disconnect from my constant thoughts. Your session instilled in me the desire to slow down and savor life’s simple pleasures.”Dhiraj Reddy · Architect, Tribal & Wildlife Photographer

No water or swimming is involved. Shinrin-yoku translates from Japanese as forest bathing: immersing ourselves in the woodland atmosphere through our senses.
We tend to cover 1–2 kilometres at a slow pace, with opportunities to stop and sit. If you would like to chat before booking or attending, get in touch with Linda and we can discuss.
Yes, but these public experiences are for adults aged 18 and over only.
Sorry, no dogs.
We proceed in the rain, spending much of the session beneath the canopy of trees. We do not enter the woods if there is a chance of lightning or high winds.
Please bring a picnic mat or something similar to sit or lie on, and a rucksack for anything else you might want, such as water, snacks and spare layers. You’ll receive a reminder by email before the session.
It can feel cooler as we slow down beneath the trees. Dress in layers, even in warm weather, and wear long sleeves and trousers to help prevent stings and scratches. Enclosed shoes are essential; flip-flops and sandals are not suitable. Consider bringing waterproofs too.
